and get rid of the sissy bar. I pulled the rear seat and found all sorts of junk that would have to be re-routed and the fender is all lumpy-goofy anyway. Has anyone gotten around the lumpy fender and how?
I took a reciprocating saw and cut the fender behind where the rectifier was off. I used the flat spot where the rectifier was to attach my DIY tail light mount. Not necessarily the most attractive method, but it works.
I have a trailer fender in the garage that I'm planning on replacing it here in the near future. Sluggo has one of the nicest rear fenders, methinks.
I'm also thinking that it might be possible to yank a front fender off a C-50 or something like that. Not sure, but I think it would work.
