It kinda under sells our lovely little machine don't it? For stock bike I guess it's right. But it seems to hint at limits that are way below it's potential. But hey, they're critics. What do they know. Grin

You can always count on Art or Jamie to screw up a perfectly good bike in their reviews. I used to subscribe to Motorcycle Cruiser. Now, I don't even thumb through it at Walmart while Lisa is lost somewhere in the pet department.

I'm glad it got a rather unfavorable review. Might make one more available for me to buy when I'm ready to "ruin another perfectly good motorcycle"... Grin  Roll Eyes

The report of a bone stock Savage from the factory is pretty much right on.  It is unfortunate that they do not cover the easy "after purchase" mod's that are made by most folks...and then the comments  of those who live with the bike everyday.

didnt want a v twin everybodys brother has them..
didnt like the chain on the kaw & priced right at the top my my budget...
have no regrets about  my purchase..
i challenge their 1/4 mile i think i did better than that when i was breakin her in(ride it like you stoled it school)
shes not stock anymore so doesnt matter..
ive never wanted for more power 2 up or just me..
and  only time bike felt too lite was over 80 mph..the
interstate is 75 mph here wouldnt want to run a tank of gas at that speed, this is a cruiser not a tourer..
