bolt torque

Hi,
I am trying to replace the gasket on the stator/starter gear cover but everytime I put the cover on I seem to overtighten the bolts causing oil to leak and having to get another gasket.

Can anyone tell me what the bolts on the cover should be torqued to or any special instruction for getting this thing on without causing a leak?

Thanks

only snug them up, dont even use a torque wrench,a 1/4 inch drive socket will be enough for them. put some gasket sealer on the backside of the gasket so it stays in place while u tighten the bolts.put the cover on then before u tighten the cover look at the gasket to see if it's still in place,if it is tighten the bolts.
