Get a poyethelene hose.  I don't konw the ID offhand, maybe a couple of different sizes... maybe 3/16" or so...

Remove the rubber cap from the bleedscrew.  Take the closed end of either a 10 or 8 mm wrench (I forget) on the bleed screw (It's not really a screw).  Put one end of the hose over the bleed screw.  put the open end into an enpty can/bottle that you don't want (i.e. beer can).  Now take off the resevoir cover on the master cyclinder.  NOTE the orientation of the little ruber cover.  Make sure you have some brake fluid handy.  Don't mix types of brake fluid.  It is okay to go from DOPT 3 to DOT 4, but don't mix them.

There's a little hole on the bottom of the resevoir.  Start squeezing the break lever repeatedly and watch air come out of the hole.  It can take quite a few pumps if you let a lot of air intot hat system.  When air stops coming out after a lot of pumps, pump it up so there's a lot of pressure.  Quickly loosen the bleed screw and retighten it while continuing to squeeze the brake lever.  Repeat until the brakes stay firm after you bled them.  Put tyhe master cylinder cover back on and clean up.

During the bleeding portion, it is important to make sure that no air gets into the little hole, otherwise it's a PIN to get it all out.  

Also, brake fluid is mildly corrosive.  If you get any on you paint, clean it off.  A lot of folks throw an old sweatswhirt on the tank...-
