Ok, some of y'all have seen the basic idea of what I'm doing to my Savage (I've made a good bit of progress this week, I'l post pics of the nearly completed project as soon as I'm able), but I've hit a bit of a snag that for some reason didn't occur to me (and yes, I know...it should have).  I have to replace the speedometer with a handlebar mount one.  The problem is...the stock cable isn't long enough.  I have an extra long speedometer cable, but not the tubing it goes in.  Suggestions form anyone?

I know...some of my questions might be simple to answer...but hey, I'm not all that mechanically inclined, so I have to turn to someone for help.
