Oh yeah, my other question about the electrical jumbo involves a 2004 left hand switch i bought.  My bike is an 87 so the connection under the tank for the two switches is a tad bit different, how hard will it be to make the newer one work? anyone do this before?

Now you got me, I dont know!

Check the wiring diagram. The pins in the connector can be removed with a sharp pointed pin. Maybe you have to replace/change some pins.

Anyway, let us know

I believe your talking about the passing light.
rather useless little thing. Flicking highbeams does the same thing. Does anyone actually use this? I'd get more use from a tripometer

ok so today i tried to start her.  cranked and cranked with no luck.  so naturally i check for spark.

I took a spare plug (tried with two spares) and grounded them against the engine fins.  tried to crank and they both showed that i was not getting spark.

Any suggestions? i breezed through an old post about aussiesavage's no spark problem so im going to check for connections loose and such.
