I started on mounting my new seat today ! But I ran into some problems ! In the front where the seat is supposed to be mounted in the bracket there is no bracket on my seat ! So I looked at the original seat and found out that is was made in the plastid so I could not move it from the old to the new ! Was our seats like that to, and what did you do ?
Next problem is that the rectifier that sits under the passenger seat kind of get s in the way, so im planing on moving that, anybody having a alternative place for it ?

Reply #3 - 03/17/06 at 20:31:33 Go to your local Harley dealer and buy the front seat tab for a 2004 and up Sportster The tab will have two holes in it to attach to your seat. Here is a picture of one. It is the tab at the bottom of the picture, which is the front of the seat. FYI Ike

In fackt it actualy the same seat with flame and all 8) it looks soooo sweet now.
