Check the link for a gel seat that uses a draw string to fit over your current stock seat. Its about an 11/2 to short for a savage seat. I'm going to call tomorrow and see if they have any other sizes.

Be sure to find out how thick this pad is.  Since it is made for  bicycles it may be pretty thin...1/2" or less.

If more comfort is your goal, try a sheepskin pad.  I have one on my two frequent riders.  When my SO and I go for a ride she wants a pad on her seat too so I have to take it off my Savage.  I recommend the Aerostitch, it is a perfect fit and has a neoprene backing to keep it from slipping.  It is also much nicer to sit on when it is cold or very hot out.

Just ordered the sheepskin from AlaskaLeather.com.  Looking forward to seeing what kind of difference it makes with my gluteus maximus! Cheesy

Just a comment:  Artificial lambskin from a medical supply company works just great.  Used for bedpads and wheelchair occupants to prevent bedsores etc.  Completely washable and actually is more comfortable than real sheepskin. Just buy how much you need right off a roll, put  a couple of elastic straps to slip under your seat and you are in business.

This is my initial step at comfort.  If the sheepskin doesn't work, then I'm going to go with the GelTec pad.

I've got a major bad back, have had two surgeries resulting in fusion at the lower two levels of my back.  So, I've kinda got more than just the usual monkey butt reason for seeking comfort. Cheesy

I came perilously close to buying a Ninja rather than the Savage purely because the riding position on the Ninja rotated my tailbone up just enough that there wasn't pressure on it.  However, in testing the Savage out, the seat felt better on me so I wanted to give the cruiser one final shot before I bolt to a sportbike type of motorcycle.

Sheepskin can be very comfortable.  It feels warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer.  It is also especially good for reducing sweating during the summer.  I got mine at http://www.sheepyhollow.com/.  It's an Australian outfit with everything from fully tailored seat covers to the basic seat pads.  I just got the seat pad and it works well.  Remember, prices are listed in Aussie dollars so be sure to convert.
