Yes, you're right. (I used to live in BGD).

Does anybody have comments on the drain plug that is loose??? Drain plug at bottom of the carb cup is not very tight - was able to open with my fingers and when used tools to screw back would just turn around.***Is it supposed to be like that or I have to replace the bottom cup w/drain plug???***

Reply #16 - 03/11/06 at 21:15:54 It sounds like the threads in the float bowl are stripped. The previous owner must have overtightened the drain plug. It sounds like you can still thread the plug all the way, so I would try Permatex thread sealant.

Thinking to cheat a bit - just take the bottom cup off and clean what I can reach. **Is that OK or very bad idea???
