You can run a 150/80/15 IF you buy a premium brand tire, with a true round profile. A Kenda, Cheng Shin/Maxxis, Sakura, etc, won't cut it. Metzeler, Dunlop, Avon, Continental or similar, ONLY! No Bridgestones, they are junk.
Seattle huh? I'm at the bike breakers you see on TV all the time, at the Auburn store. Drop by and I'll try to get you hooked up properly.
Oh, if you are used to dirt bikes, you'll hate the ride/handling of the stock rear tire. A 130/80 or 130/90 might be a better choice, they'll turn more readily. -WD
