I've never seen them on a Savage but I'd like them. My last 5 bikes had the pegs directly below the seat, or close. I liked the way they felt, especially riding fast on a winding road. I thought of bolting on a highway bar  w/pegs under the frame & putting the shift lever straight onto the shaft without the linkage. The problem is the right side, since a bracket for the rear brake lever would have to be welded on to relocate it.

I have  thought about it a few times but have not done any actual work toward it yet...but would like to.
