Check tire pressure often?

I own a 2004 Savage - lovely bike. Has anyone else noticed that you have to fill up both tires by at least a few PSI every one-two months or so, or is it just me?

It is very important to keep tire pressure correct and is vital stuff for a safe ride, but is this slow leakage normal?

very much normal. I check them at least weekly or after a big temp change - and set the psi. sometimes they're low some times high - I'd sure expect them to lose a few psi over a couple of months if I left them alone.

The Camaro has a slow leak on the left front.  When I drag the compressor out to top it off I also do the pedal and motor bikes.  I rather like having the forced reminder.
