I think that's a great looking innovation! Cool idea. Particularly with the slash cuts. I wouldn't mind having that look on my Savage. I think you're onto something. Do you get more power? How's the sound?

Very cool! I think it would look cool is the top one was shorter than the bottom... or maybe vice versa?

Got to admit, it is interesting looking, and it would certainly open it up and reduce the backpressure...

the y pipe was 14.94 at advanced auto.  The muffler reducer was another 2.00.  I will have ot make a sound file of it soon.  Still kinda loud because these mufflers have a very tiny baffle.

Wonder how much (if any) it reduced your max lean angle? or would the peg drag first?

Well, guys, get a load of this

The muffler is real, and both terminals work
I'd like to fit something like that
(the bike is a 500cc horizontal single)

The green bike shown looks like a 1972 Moto Guzzi Nuovo Falcone.  Another one lunger that has dual exhaust is the Daelim Daystar which also has a larger gas tank.  I don't think that these are sold in the U.S.

What are the measurements of the Y pipe used on the photos posted?  Was any additional mounting bracket used to support the dual mufflers?

Im sorry but I dont have the measurements and Im not removing my heat shield to get em either.  SO NAH!

Anyway it was a dual muffler tip with flared tips.  We hacked off the tips with a grinder and Torque welded them to the mufflers.  Im sorry that i dont have any measurement info for ya.

Do what I do.  Take the muffler with ya and see if it fits in the store.  Always worked for me Smiley

now if I only could figure out how to make a "safe" flamethrower...  Any takers?  Do i just need a coil, switch, and plug?
