I have a solution for you torque, get a 2 stroke dirt bike to ride when you feel like running the crap out of a motorcycle, they will take all the abuse you and I could dish out. Go ahead and fix your Savage to cruise on for times when you want to just enjoy the ride. Good luck whatever you do.

That is a self-selected poll, and thus invalid.

I have never understood this mindless "follow the crowd" mindset.  "DUH!  I don't know what to think, let me see what others think and I'll just go along with the pack."

You have to look at how you ride and what you expect out of a motorcycle and select on that basis.  Took me about 12 years to learn what I require in a Vehicle, and another 20 to figure out what I want in a motorcycle.  Some people never learn.

I say:  Sorry about your Savage.

I've only had mine a few months, but for me it's the bike I like and hope to keep for quite a while.  Yet, it's my first motorcycle, and I was happy just to get a basic bike that would fit a 5'3" me, at a decent price.  Sport bikes etc. are awesome, but I can't afford them.  I do pick up buy & sell mags. to drool a bit, but I love my little savage!

Anyway, whatever happens, I hope you enjoy the Harley or whatever other bikes you get.  How you ride it, mod it etc. is your choice - cause it's your bike.

Happy riding!!! Grin
