Just wanted to share ... I was up until 4:30 am playing with the foam tank ... I had thought that it might end up being 5-6 gallons but I doubt it now ... probably more like 4 gallons when it is done.

Torque and I thought it might restrict your turning perhaps and may even rub your handlebars. Just a suggestion if you havent measured with the bars bent full left or full right. ps nice pics. I love foam. haha

couldnt you layout about 1/4 of the full thickness of the glass you plan to use and then saw the whole deal in half, then connect both sides and finish with the rest of the glass?
if you cover the mold with a few layers of aluminum foil, shiney out, and mold release, it should release well. I am thinking of doing something like this too, though I may end up building it out on CAD first.

Lancer, how ow are you going to manage the opening for the fuel cap?
