Headlight upgrade

Went to WallyWorld yesterday and picked up a pair of H4 Xenon headlamps for the Savage. Got home, switched the halogen bulb out with the Xenon and then waited until night so I could try it out.

I must say, there is a HUGE difference between these bulbs! The Xenon is a very white light and the range of vision as compared to the stock halogen just cannot be compared!

grat mod just did last nite!!got from jc whitney it was a two pack one bulb low beam was out they gave my money back !!! final mod cost shipping only!!

But, I thought that there was only one headlight on the Savage. There must be two lamps in there. I'm assuming you took it apart and put new bulbs in or something. How did you know what to get at Wal-Mart no less.

Has anyone installed one of these bulbs ? (see below.)
My question is: I think the factory installed bulb is 35W and I would guess that these bulbs are 55W. So will the standard Savage wiring be suffcient to accomodate the additional 20 w's of power? Thanks ~S

- Bulbs are 4500K, 12V and 100W Input Power

- This item works on any vehicle which lightbulb application is H4/9003.

I think it is very cool looking. It is just $79.95 in the Jireh Cycles catalog. Part # 8-315 or 316 depending on a clear or blue lens.
