JC Whitney has some great looking Billet slotted chrome mirrors. I got some for Christmas. They come with mounting hardware. Be sure to use loc-tite!

I need the mirror mount that is incorporated into the hand brake mount...The Stealership wants $25 just for the mount  half...  I almost had the big one  ( hand on chest gasping for air )

On the topic of mirrors...

I've seen some pieces that go between the mirror stem and the mount that supposedly cut down on vibration.  I think JC Whitney sells some, and I'm sure they can be found other places.  Anyone use these or something like them?  Or have any other experience with cutting down on the vibration in the mirrors?

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely, in one pretty and well preserved piece, but to skid in broadside, used-up, worn out, and defiantly shouting 'Geronimo!!!'

For the M.O.T. over here if you can look behind you you don't need mirrors.

I got some mirrors from jc last year and got the shock mounts and man they vibrate really bad Sad I put my beat stock back on and Iam still looking for something to work.In an older post there was something about a snake that goes in the handle bars to cut down the vibration but don't know how it works.

The bars are already weighted on the ends, in my experience the OE mirrirs are worth the $ if you are going to ride much. If it is a showbike, then probably any mirrir will do. max

I would highly NOT recommend the Barsnake. I recently tried it because my Sportster bars had no weights. NO possible way to get more than 8-10" into the handlebar, even lubed & with 10 apes pulling on it. Today I got some silicone to fill the bars & fishing weights for the ends. #5 were too small, #6 slightly too big but I can probably tap them in with a hammer. Some recommend filling the bar with epoxy & lead shot. Good luck. 8)
