I don't know where You are, but here in US, there is no '92 Savage. There was '86-88 model /4 gears/ and '96-04 model /5 gears/
Anyway- If You go with tank- speedo assy, no problem.
Otherwise I know, that there was some very small difference in the way the plastic frame around the speedo fits on the 4 gear version and the 5 gear version. You might have to buy the proper for the gas tank piece, or to do some small reworking.
