aftermarket fender?

My rear fender is damaged, and I'm not crazy about its looks anyway.  Are there any aftermarket fenders available?

i don't believe there are any "bolt on" fender replacements.  there are many options available if you want to make it a solo machine.  boat trailer fenders, i used a chrome half fender off an old suzuki  for mine.

here's a look at thumper and lucky.

Yeah, I've got a rear half fender from a '79 Honda CM400.  It looks great mocked up, but I have no idea how I'm going to mount it.

8)sluggo, every time I see those chrome fenders on your LS I drool!! I have never been happy with the look of the Savage's front fender ... never liked the way the sides of the fender wrapped over the sides of the front tire ... a sleeker, smaller fender covering just the top of the tire would look way better ...

me and jim-r went to a junkyard not to long ago,and they had so many chrome fenders, front and rear, but most of them where in pretty bad shape, but some looked like all they needed was a good polish.they had a couple good fiber glass ones too. id like to find a rear fender that almost scrapes the ground Wink

I agree with Torque.  I like the idea of a rear fender that is really low on the rear wheel..

or this

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/03-FLH-rear-fender_W0QQitemZ4595425208QQcatego...

or this one

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/03-FLH-front-fender-100th-anniv_W0QQitemZ45955...

or this one..  many different styles.  Too bad Im too lazy to do a photoshop chop Smiley

I personally don't like the big dress fenders. I really like the custom fenders that come with the Savage. But the fenders that take the cake................
Look no further than Sluggo's bike. darn Sluggo!!!!      I could sit and look at your bike all day.
I've been toying with the idea of buying a savage fender off ebay or something, trim it down just enough so the tail light touches a solo seat (no passenger). Mount it using the same bolts. That way it should just be a fairly quick change back to a two-up seat if I want to take my girl for a tour. The lights stay on the fender and the wires will be quick connects.

Man! The LS looks so much better with her a$$ exposed like that! That side-mount, sideways tag is way cool too! 8)
