Savage slowing down or am I speeding up???

Lately, been noticing that the suzi's mid-range has a bit of a flat spot!!  Weird, cuz I'm a new biker so she always seemed fast to me( 0-60mph in 6.92 seconds is fast!) but now I notice she seems to flatten out a bit after 40 mph or so.

She's totally stock and runs really well.

Time to think of winter upgrades, maybe!?!

Exhaust?  Carb?  Whaddaya think?

Remove or flatten the White Spacer and your troubles are over.

You must be growing into your big single, do the upgrades and never grow out of it. It's way too much fun Grin Grin

Savage is my first bike, but I noticed at first it felt like loads of power.  One month later the entire throttle was managable at any speed.  One year later and a muffler, new jets and a K&N and I was happy again.  Full throttle is still no problem but it actually goes so you have to be a little more careful with it.  First time I took it to work after the mods I was running a little late.  Took off from a stop light like I always did except for the front end came flying off the ground for ten feet or so.  Kinda cool, but I've tired to avoid that since.

do the mods and tune it right - it's a blast - with those hogs I was playing with this weekend - if my clutch comes out first from a light it takes all they got to catch the '95 before about 70.
