Just when I need the power to accelerate fast - it's right there!!!!  Not to mention it just is so cool to shift the gears quickly and leave the competition behind!

Freedom to think and have time away from family pressures is nice too.

When lane-splitting becomes legal in Texas, that might be a nice thing.  In the mean time, the ability to use the HOV lane is pretty nice.

Love that midrange torque...and hearing Harley riders go "YUH?"

High Occupancy Vehicle.  The far left lane on certain sections of some major freeways is dedicated to passenger vehicles carrying multiple passengers.  These lanes often move noticeably faster than the rest of the freeway.  People are fined for using it with only one person in the vehicle.  Commercial passenger vehicles such as taxis and buses are also allowed to use them but only if they contain a certain number of passengers.  Anyway, bikes are also alowed to use them and it can save time and keep a breeze going on a hot day.  These lanes have specified areas for entry/exit and crossing into  or out of them at any other place is subject to fines.  However, some cagers often view this as their emergency passing lane and can cause some nasty occurrences.
