UPDATE 25 december 2005:
I fullfilled one of my wishes, the streetfightermirrors have been fixed to the handlebar

and with a rear-end of the motorcycle looking like this:

Well... call me a happy bloke. Just a few things need to be done:
1. finish the enginespoiler and fix it to the frame
2. buy and install an open exhaust
3. build myself some forward controls
Maybe I'll do the paint after that, but I'm still not sure. And as it's winter everything gets really dirty really fast so it's no use, I think I'll wait till spring

And a picture to make comparing them easier:

This is my Savage with it's little big-single sister (I wanted to say twin sister, but it isn't  Wink Cheesy). I just sold the maroon Savage yesterday. What a difference ey? But I'm not sure about if I did a good job removing the beltcover... I think I'll put it back on one of these days...

I just found out somebody already painted his Savage the color I wanted to paint mine. But well, maybe I'll do it anyway. It would look like this:

except for the bigger rear fender. And I would paint the cylinderheadcovers in the same color.

Wow, that is really nice.
I don't know if I would go with that color on mine, but it sure looks good.

*newsflash* next tuesday the HD tank will be sold and replaced by a double HD tank (a tank in two parts). But I already picked up the open exhaust.

It's not entirely open, there's a cap in the end to make sure it still has enough compression. I hope it'll sound good  Wink Grin

what kind of exhaust do you have? And why is the Raask so bad?
I'm thinking of changing it anyway... tomorrow my Laser half-open arrives, so I'll just keep the Raask for summer days and the Laser for the every-days work.
