The bar OD is 1".  A lot of machine shops make cables for motorcycles, but you usually have to bring in your originals...

It is not the cables You have to worry about. What about the wiring of the left and right hand switches?

If you need a custom cable I can get a Barnett cable made for you for a lower cost than their retail.

Cool. Braided stainless for all below please.

Barnett price quote for clutch cable, brake hose and throttle cable, 1998 LS650 with 14 inch rise bars. I can get a 50 inch braided stainless brake hose locally (2 hours north)  for $50 out the door.

Ditto for 1999 Vulcan 800A. Clutch cable, both throttle cables, and front brake hose, 12inch rise bars.

I await your e-mail. Thanks Lancer.

http://www.people.virginia.edu/~fjb9a/web_class/mnemonics_project/Handel.html

Georg Frideric Handel was a rather famous composer.  He wrote:

Music is measured by a unit known as bars.  Thus the above is an illustration of several Handel Bars.

I was going to write a drinking song, but I couldn't get past the first six bars.
