However, if I were planning to spend that much on a new exhaaust, I'd get a Raask straight pipe. The high quality is a known on that one.

If it's a high quality chrome (or possibly ceramic) it may not be susceptible to bluing (or at least far less so).

Probably nothing. They may have simply not verified it fits or bothered to update advertising. The Mac muffler says it fits 86-87 Savages. It fits my 98 perfectly.
