Karen627 Ex Member	Cheapest place for windshields? 09/14/05 at 17:56:50 Just wondering if anyone can suggest the cheapest place to order the Memphis Shades Pop Top. I know Accessories International has it for $139.98 (with the mounting kit). Am I correct in thinking that's the best I'll do? I plan to order tonight, so I can get it in time for the Dragon ride. Thanks.

I saw Lancer's windshield -- unfortunately, I think it's a little bit bigger than what I was looking for.

I bit the proverbial bullet and ordered from Accessories International. They were something like $2 cheaper than Ron Ayers -- hey, that's enough for almost a whole gallon of gas. Grin

Now I just have to hope it gets to me before next weekend.

The stuff I buy there is marked down as much a 10 cents on the dollar. Even the highest priced items are marked down 50%.

Yeah, I had checked there. No luck. Ah, well.

BTW, your windshield looks good -- if it hadn't been a little bit too big (or if I weren't so short), I would have jumped on it.

I'll let you know. It's supposed to arrive Wednesday. I'll probably put it on Thursday, then I'm heading up to NC on Friday for the group ride at the Tail of the Dragon/Cherohala Skyway. By the time I get back Sunday I'll probably have put about 400-someodd miles on with the windshield, so I'll probably have a pretty good idea of how well it works on the bike.
