cost to re-chrome?
09/07/05 at 17:20:34

what does it cost to re-chrome pieces of my bike that have aged a bit.  I can do most of the prep work, but is it worth having a piece rechromed or buying the part brand new?

In my case the biggest part i need redone or replaced is the exhaust pipe from the cylinder to the muffler.  Mine is brown with rust on the entire backside and i got anew muffler recently.  I want to replace or fix the pipe while i have the new muffler to put on as well.
thanks

buy a new header, its too much work to get the header
to be so smooth especially if theres any rust,it would cost around the same anyway.
