What is the Difference?

I just bought a 1987 Savage today and I need to replace some parts. Some of the online catalogues talk about a LS650F or LS650P. Does anyone know the difference?
Thanks

Is that the only difference? The handlebars? Does that mean that all the other components are the same and interchangeable?

Don't know what the parts fiche might say, but I swapped my pullback bars for drag bars & pullback risers, and didn't have to change anything else.
