Happy Trails!
08/06/05 at 06:15:10

Went out this morning early (for me) about 7:30am and got on the putt and rode up and down, and around the streets of Utica, NY.

This town is a little old town with a lot of rundown sections but even they have some interesting buildings. Its fun to get out before the traffic starts on Sat. and Sun. and just look around and see whats new.

I generally pick out the older sections with the little shops and restaurants or bars to ride around in.

Stay away from the houses so I dont wake people up.

Then after I feel satisfied I go home and sit in the back yard, which is really green this time of year with a cup of coffee and let the dog romp around.

I must be gettin old, because this is my idea of fun.

How about you?

Bleh, nothing that scenic in suburbia here so I take a quick jaunt into the nearby countryside.  Hmm, I guess there are a few smaller towns not too far away with a Mayberry-esque appeal.

Anyway, that sounds like a great ride!
