Hi, Naomi.  Sorry I can't answer your question -- I'm just chiming in here because I've been wondering the same thing.  

It's difficult for me to cover the brake while riding (as a precaution, anywhere where I might need to suddenly stop) -- I can't quite reach the brake lever and stay on the throttle consistently at the same time.
