Dynojet for 1987?

In the technical section of this site G U I T A R Z A N says to expect 4HP increase by installing the DynoJet kit.  Wow that sounds great!  When I go to the DynoJet site it says they only have one kit for the Savage and this is for 1995 (or 2000) or newer.  What about my 1987 model?  Will this kit fit my 1987 model?  Will I see an increase in power?

There are several other current threads dealing with 86 and 87 carbs.  If your carb is an 87, do not follow the normal tweaking procedures that most of us use for later models.  Our carbs are of a newer design to conform to EPA regs and they produce less power and require rejetting to get the same power you have at stock.
