TOP OF THE MORNIN TO YA

I woke up early this morning so it must be time to go riding.  These past few days have been PERFECT riding weather, and I thing God would frown if we wasted one of His best days.

And that's exactly what I'm doing the past week. Beautiful weather mid 20 to 30 celcius, dry. What else could a biker ask for.

Practising every day to improve my riding skil.
Drive safe y'all.

Supposed to be 70ish and mostly sunny here today. Good enough for me.

Last Thursday, the day proper was gorgeous until about 5 PM. Then it poured. My boots are STILL wet... Angry I've basically retired the cages, so, had to ride. Being one of 4 bikes at Taco Thursday was a unique experience...

Get out there and ride in the rough weather too. Good learning experience. FWIW, the rear brake doesn't work very well in the rain, neither does the headlight...

Enjoy the day, I'm off to the trenches.

70 here in Mass today and Sunny as all hell. After the god awful weather we've consistently been having, I'll enjoy every second of nice weather we get. Supposed to be between 70 and 90 for the next 7 days, all sunny, no rain. Putting the toolbox away for the week and just gonna ride - I'll go back to wrenching when the rain comes back.

Really wanted to go ride but as was mentioned, Red Ozone alert in this area, actually blowing in from Dallas and covering Parker County. My lungs just can't take too much of that so will pat my "Garage Art" as I go by and wait for a better day.  Texas Summers have lots of good days since they last for 10 months.

I'm on a two week do nuttin' vacation.  It goes like this:

Ride the Star.
Ride the Savage.
Take the wife to lunch and a matinee.
Sleep in the hammock.
Repeat as needed.

We had crappy weather all spring, until about the second week of June.  Not a drop of rain since. Woo hoo!!

Sluggo, I like your idea and - if the powers at be align the stars for me, either Thursday or Friday I might get that chance. At the very least a half day off. My company is moving to new offices next week, and both those days are going to be cluster f*cks, with pretty much no work getting done aside from having to move my computer gear to the new building.  Unfotunately I can't take a sick day or vacation day as I'm using pretty much all of them up at the end of the year when I go to Italy. But if I'm lucky, I will get a free day next week and you can bet I will be out riding is that happens.
