I hear that Maxxis makes a 140/90-15 in a whitewall but I can't confirm that 'cause their website locks up my computer. I couldn't find that size when I looked for a whitewall so I got a whitewall Dunlop 150/90-15, which I won't have time to put on for another week or two & I don't know yet if it will fit. It's probably going to take some tweaking & maxed out shock preload to fit.

The ones I can get are Avons...so, every 1000 miles, expect to replace the rear tire... -WD

i tried the dunlop 150/90/15 it wouldn't clear the swing arm. had to go with an irc 140/90/

You found it! WIDE whitewalls in our size:

listed width of rear tire is 0.15" less than the listed width of the D404 I have on my bike

Unfortunately, they do not sell motorcycle tires on-line. Those dealers I did find on-line did not list the above WWW tires.

Fortunately they have a dealer locator by zip code, if you send me your zip I can send you a local dealer list.

Most parts shops will order anything as long as you put the cash on the barrelhead first. We have Iron Pony and Big Dog of Columbus, both have every parts catalog you can imagine. Pick your parts, pay and wait...
