Chain drive?

I'm interested in putting a savage engine into a different frame. For my purpose, I'd also need to change to chain drive, rather than the stock belt. Anyone ever done this?

I have not, but I am pretty sure it is easy. In couple of days I am going to do some checks and I will make a post.  If You want a ready solution- there is a post somewhere  with a link for a company that sells convertion kit for 199eu.

HERE IS THE LINK FOR THE CHAINDRIVE IN GERMAN, TRANSLATED INTO ENGLISH THROUGH BABBLEFISH.

http://translate.google.com/translate?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.chopperteileshop.com...

IT LOOKS LIKE A NICE KIT BUT PRICEY. THEY POP UP ON WWW.EBAY.DE QUITE OFTEN, FOR LESS MONEY. PERSONALLY, I THINK THAT A BELT DRIVE IS JUST FINE AND WOULD NEVER CONVERT UNLESS THE COST OF A NEW BELT WAS MORE THAN THIS KIT.

Kinda funny...

In the USA some guys wear German Helmets.

So what do they wear in Germany?
