I think that's the battery hiding slung low behind the engine/transmission

Looks cool, center of mass & all...
But my bad luck says no way!

I see unprotected plastic below the pipe?
Is it situated so that a pot hole would wedge it against frame?
After the bottom is busted out of this battery, and you shut it off, how will you crank it. ???

Don't shut it off...just keep driving till you get home.  Or push start it.

Not with an electronic ignition. With an old style brake point ignition was OK.

my 97 savage was fairly easy to push start. are the newer ones not so lucky?

The new "gel" batteries can be mounted on their side, for a low profile look ... with standard-type battery, I'd be leary of acid leaking out ...

While we are on the subject of "Pod Filters"  Roll Eyes

Here is the K&N cleaner and oil for the filters.  I bought this at Auto Zone.  Plenty for a few years.

I may be wrong about the battery, but it looks to me like there might be a triangular chromed mount that seems to cover 95% or so of the battery bottom. I realize that it is still possible to hit it, but it looks like it might take some abuse before failing.
