After 5 years of push/pulling a trike, bought an LS650 to solo on, that's why I am on this board now.

and let me be the first, but certainly not the last to welcome you to our little forum.  Roll Eyes

you will find lots of good information, pictures, maybe even a laff or two.

just don't type in the word petc0ck, for it will change it to petcock (which most of agree on is not a bad thing to do).

enjoy, sound off any time, we may not always agree with each other, but thats the fun of it too.

Welcome, Diesel.   You picked a fun little bike.

And there's nothing else out there like it.

been biking since '47,(72 now)had to trike 5yr. ago, knees got week, dropper wing in parking lot one too many times with s/o aboard.now  trike no. 2,'03 GL1800 CSC candy red. s/o just had a total hip replacement, mabey from too many dumps, so it will be a while before we 2 up again.  thought I'd do a little soloing, needed light bike,LS 650 (352 lbs.) just about right. had new savage in '86,so you don't forget to ride a 2 wheeler, right?WRONG! first turn out of my driveway, dange near wound up in ditch. after 5 yrs. of push/pull on trike, I TOTALLY FORGOT HOW TO COUNTERSTEER! real darn scarey! but, after a few very easy miles, that skill quickley returned. thankfully. little savage is a ball to solo on.just like I remembered.

I guess that on 2 wheels you have to countersteer, but on 3 wheels you have to counterbalance.
