Hi. I hope everyone had a nice holiday season and that the New Year is off to a good start! I just wanted to say I'm back and catching up on board news.

I was in Curacao (an island near Aruba off the coast of Venezuela) for 8 days over Christmas. My husband and I went with his family. It was a lovely trip -- great beaches, warm weather (75-85 degrees), a mountain to climb and lots of great food. I'm now readjusting to cold weather although fortunately it isn't very cold here at the moment (around 50 degrees).

Thanks! I'm glad to be back. I've been catching up and looks like the board stayed pretty active through the holidays. It is good to see.

Thanks. Yea we thought about that when the news reports started rolling in the day after Christmas. Our rooms were right on the beach so if we had been elsewhere...well, we are just feeling lucky, and counting our blessings. Made a nice donation to the relief effort too.
