To offset the weight i put on over christmas i put my bike on a diet, i removed the mudguard spacers and steel bolts and swapped a few steel bolts for aluminium alltogether saving 125grams (4.5 ounces), made me feel better.

I would have to remove my saddlebags, the rear fenderrails and sissybar (turn signals have already been relocated to the license bracket) the rear fender (oops -- there goes the rear lights), belt guard, . . . .
