First suggestion: Quote:
Then there's some more bumpers with a place to mount the electronic ignition module.

Do NOT use that mount for the ignition module - the first thing you will do is forget you mounted it and pull to hard and break the wires - $300 new from Suzuki.  You can put the module down into the air box (I think by removing the [|] rubber 'hose').

Second suggestion: Use Odar's method or one of your own - yes, that front plate will scratch your tank.  Hopefully you don't have to tear it apart (although it a fun learning experience  Roll Eyes  ).  I would like to see the instructions Odar had for you as this is the first time I have heard that that sytle seat was not mounted as is.

And yes, I know about the first suggestion through experience - my seat has been a expensive lesson.

...Then you got yer German sticker, I don't know what it says.  Is doesn't say Verboten or have any exclamation marks or death's heads, so I'll ignore it for now..

If you post a readable version, I bet Kropatchek could translate it for you...

I got my GEL TEC - CRUZER MOTORCYCLE CUSHION last Friday and got a chance to try it out over the weekend.  That is one seriously comfortable pad, for both cushioning and vibration dampening.  It's shaped like a solo seat but works just fine on the stock seat.  I'm actually glad it is shaped the way it is since I intend to change my seat to a solo type similar to Sluggo's at some point in the future.

... and an added bonus of using the detachable pad...

I can take it with me and use it when my daughter has her dance competitions and I wind up sitting on high school bleachers for hours at a time!
