'Just to let y'all know what you've helped me accomplish with my Savage:

new battery, spark plug
turn signals relocated
storage trunk behind license plate
steering column lock works! <wink>
hand guards and windshield installed
new saddlebags and tank bag
spiffy new ICON vest (all the better for cagers to see me, m'dears!)

Thank you, all, for you help, suggestions, and support of a newer rider. I appreciate it!

8) Hey all iam the new guy .I just got a 1998 savage.
And the little thing is alot stronger the I thought it would be.Iam a big guy and use to having bigger bikes.
But had to sell them a while ago because of starting a family.So i just got this thing and iam hooked lol.I will put a pic up soon And thankyou for the site its got a lot of good stuff on it .O yea iam from Chiefland Florida am a park ranger At manatee springs state park.

Hiya, Greetings from Ireland!
I have just bought a 1993 Savage here in Dublin, Ireland. It has 25,000 Kms on the clock, and I believe it's a german imported bike. Cost me 2400 euros from a bikeshop beside the Phoenix Park here in central Dublin. I'm a scooterboy at heart as I already own 2 Vespa PX200s and hang around with people who drive vespas and old lambrettas. Better not let them see me on this lovely "savage" bigwheeler. Grin

Here is a photo of my new bike as it stood in the bikeshop yesterday...

Relocated signals (due to moronic previous owner snapping the old ones off) Generic Bags (came with the bike from previous owner) 11,000 Miles and running strong.
