Savage Colors By Year

I've been wanting to know what colors go with what year so I did a little research. A few notes:

For 1996 to 2004, I got the color names off the Color-rite site which offers OEM paint colors.
They didn't have 86, 87, 88 or 95 colors listed for the Savage so I have input these based on feedback from this forum and the Heise forum. If anyone has any additional input, please post it here and I'll update.

Well, that's odd. I have ordered paint from Color-Rite and it matched and I know others have as well.

Maybe the bike was repainted at some point? Or maybe it was a Canadian bike? I don't know if the colors are the same for international editions. Sad

I don't think I understand the question, but here is Pearle Novelty Black for sale on Amazon.

My 2005 has "YAY Pearle Nebular Black".

My experience with trying to match any color is that it will never exactly match the original paint. Different manufacturers, different paint bases, aging/fading of existing paint, and even OEM paint won't match because it's from a different batch (even if from the same base paint).
