My wife has the '05 S40.  I have an '03 Suzuki Volusia.  And "we" have an '03 Yamaha Royal Star Venture for touring... Not bad when you consider I paid for all three what some people pay for one Harley!

Me too, Ford decreed last month (w/ zero days notice) that I could no longer sign-in/walk into gate 6. (The last time I worked there, excusion launch, I was allowed to drive my Suburban into our on-site office) I could drive in if I had a Ford product. I spent about 7 hours searching the internet for a decent, but not junk, Ford, Lincoln,Volvo, Mazda, Jag or Land Rover. I found a black on black 98 Lincoln Mark VIII LSC, DOHC, 32V w/ 83k. 8)
I now have less in the LSC, Savage and Pacific Coast combined, than my homey does in his 1+yr old-less-than-1500-miles-Harley. Grin Grin

Well, as per my much earlier post in this thread...new bike for longer distance.  2006 Suzuki Boulevard C50.  National Cycle Hardbags, Cobra lightbar, Bestem sissybar and luggage rack.  Mustang seat on the way.  Considering a Memphis fats and Lindby engine guard/highway pegs.  700+ mile trip on it last weekend, no problems!

I have a 1975 CB 550 that died due to Ivan. Carbs disentigrated after sitting for 18 months after Ivan. I just recently tried to revive her with no success. She will soon keep other CB's running via ebay. Previous bikes were a 1956 Jawa 250 and a 1969 Sportster.  The savage is quickly overtaking the CB as a favorite yet memories die hard. I'll keep riding the savage till it happens.

My other bike is a Trek 7.2 FX.

Takes significantly less discipline to get from point A to point B on the Savage, you know.

I think I might go for a ride. On the Trek. My Zook is getting painted.

My wife has the Savage, which I always seem to be sharpening my maintenance skills on  Grin

I just recently sold my Triumph and got a great deal on a used 2004 Honda 599 (CB600F).

Currently... 2001 XR650R, dual-sported... 1974 Suzuki TS125 (wife learned to ride on it). In the past - CB550, a CB450, a CL450, an XR200, a Harley 165, a Sears 50 (made by Puch), and a Puch moped. If it has two wheels and a motor, I want to ride it.

2002 Savage, silver, low maintance runs great
1969 Ducati Monza, 250cc bevelhead, silver, high maintance, runs, waiting for restoration. Found the bike in pieces in a garage, took over a year to put back together and get started. Must of put it together backwards, the kickstarter is on the left, shifter on the right and the shift pattern is one up four down.  Wink

I don't know about you, but I think these past 10  years have been absolutely  the best deade since the sixties for sports cars and motorcycles.  Only have the Savage for now, but Ducati has some exciiting new "classic" style bikes, moto guzzi has a great new line, Harley finally has almost reliable.  New triumphs bonnie and thruxton make me feel good just seeing them. New Norton (so what's in a name??).  Great time to be alive and riding. Now if I could just manage a little more $, then that would = more bikes.
