I have my Savage, a 2002 that I bought new in August '02, and it now has over 23900 miles on it (Odometer 23400 plus 517 "lost miles" documented while the speedo cable was broken.)

In May 2005 I got a new 2005 VSTAR 1100 Silverado which I do use for my long trips.

I don't think I'll ever give up my "Special Ed." Kiss

I only have my '04 Savage with almost no miles on it, since I just got it in October. But I think it's interesting that the second bike right now that interests me most, for long distance touring, is the V-Star 1100, and a couple of our Savage stalwarts already have them. They also hold onto their Savages, as would I if I could afford to. Must be something we share, huh?

And "we" have an '03 Yamaha Royal Star Venture for touring. A bike for every occasion.....what could be better? Not bad when you consider I paid for all three what some people pay for one Harley!
