Is that a Raask pipe? Why is it discolored?

very nice look! i just changed exhaust on the savage, 12" chrome glass pack & 30" fish tail pipe, turned out good, i post pics when i getta chance.

I thought for sure I received one or two notifications, possibly because I checked the box when I responded. Who knows?

What is the compression ratio of the savage stock? I can tell you what is desirable in an automobile,

, but I am not sure how these air cooled engines react to boost, my guess is you would want the compression ratio 8:1 possibly lower to keep the heat down, boost healthy and octane low for street use but thats a guess. later

Singles are very difficult to turbo, such a long time between inlet strokes and between exhaust strokes. The turbine/impeller revs rise and fall dramatically, unlike a inline four. Clive W
