Longest trip - not don it yet, but working on it. Want to ride up the east coast to Nova Scotia. Ferries will be involved at some point.
Weather - All sorts. Skipped on the black ice day tho.
Stops - always for gas, once for a water break. Usually about 100 miles.
Average MPG - 50+ (i am really bad at keeping track of it)
Roads - tarmac, concrete, some hard pack dirt roads and highway
Speed - here is why I chimed into this post at all; I find my 06 has a highway 'sweet spot' at 70 mph. Runs like a happy purring machine at that speed for as long as my butt can stand it.
But it does not seem that many other people have that higher speed as a comfortable ride. Is it because I am on a newer bike?
