Harbor Freight Wheel Chocks
11/17/07 at 05:14:46

Here’s what I have.
It’s a wheel chock from harbor freight $40 on sale
and it ran me $30 to make the stands
that’s for materials and welding cost I did all the
cutting, measuring, grinding, and drilling.
And $5 for some "anti-rust" paint (right!! Undecided)

Total $75
about 4 hours of total work involved
driving from here to there, doing all the work
and taking these pics

Not such a good pic but it shows the kick stand up.
It also shows the seat back I made awhile ago.
I have all the pic's from that project on my desk top which is in the back of a budget truck getting ready to drive cross country.

and here's why I needed 2 stands

I'm sure it’s illegal in 17 states to have bike in the back of a covered truck. I’ll post pics of what they look like before I close the doors.  Undecided

As far as the wheel chocks go. they get the job done. they have 3 settings on the pivot for different size wheels. They came with all the hardware to mount them in a trailer or the bed of a truck. built pretty well. i'm sure there are way better chocks out there but non for 40 buck like this one.

Thanks for looking. RIDE SAFE
