Title: My Bobber
Post by martin jarvis on 04/09/24 at 01:44:46

Decided to build something a little different. I also wanted a bike that handles well and is comfortable to ride. I wanted to keep the belt drive as well.
Engine has a 95mm bore with a re profiled cam and ported head and a Mikuni flat slide carb.
I really don't care what you think the suspension looks like the geometry is correct for my design and works very well. The photos do not do the bike justice.
Parts I have made.
Chassis
Swing arm
Forks and yokes
Front and rear mudguards
Seat base
Foot controls
Petrol tank (3 attempts) 3rd time lucky
Exhaust down pipe and silencer.
Rear light mount
Speedo cowl
All brackets etc.

MM:  Martin Jarvis is not a common name in Texas........and from the looks of the license plate on that bike I am sure the bike is not in the US!

The work is definitely well done and shows the hand of a craftsman.

I followed your scrambler build on IG.  You and your buddies aren't afraid to ride your machines.  Good stuff.
