An actual leader, after witnessing the debacle in New York with the assault on the cop, would’ve immediately closed the border. And it’s not just the criminal activity by those scums, but it’s the behavior of the New York judges, and their political system. Sure, I’ve heard this morning they’ve been captured in Arizona but how ridiculous was it that they walked away flipping off the bird. That’s embarrassing. And how many instances like that have happened against citizens not captured on camera? I know lefties like the point to immigration from the past and the Statue of Liberty but remember potential immigrants had to prove their ability to support themselves or they were never allowed on the boats to begin with and some were sent back once they got here. We’re not doing that. All we do is say sure, come across and will send you off to some city and you can drain their resources. This is a ridiculous bill and put together by 1) people who have never ever faced consequences from mass immigration and 2) continues the plan to allow these people to vote in federal elections, guaranteeing a Democratic Party majority. That’s all this is, a Democratic Party get out the vote program. That’s all. It’s nothing else. If illegals were coming across the border, wearing Maga hats and red shirts, Democrats would build a wall bigger than what’s around the mansions they live in. There are very few serious people in power and obviously that includes Puddinhead Biden, but Trump as well. And Nikki Haley supports this? Another waste of time. I still hold out hope that a convention miracle brings DeSantis back into the mix. |

With most of the migrants now coming from countries south of Mexico, Mexico should be securing its southern border. Mexico will stop being a conduit if we secure our border and let them fill up their country if they won’t plug their southern border. |

There needs to be a big deterrent - like a harsh penalty (up to including death) for attempting to enter illegally. That may sound harsh, but there is a legal path that must be followed. It not, and you chose illegal entry, you are risking your life based on your poor choice. Pew Research keeps some good unbiased stats based on credible resources, and Trump did worse at removing illegals than Obama during his first two years. His numbers improved a bit in his last 2 years. This really shouldn’t be a political issue. And it’s nonsense that Democrats want more illegals so they can fill up the ballot box (that’s pure propaganda pumped out by certain media like Fox News). Journalism for the non-thinking. |

Since they aren't citizens, getting a day in court dedicated to them isn't necessary or practical. Start putting them in "lots" of 5000 and have mass court cases to get rid of the backlog. Y'all call came across together on 2/7/24, you'll all get the same mass court date. There's no way all these people can be vetted 1 by 1 by the courts. And these cases should be a rubber stamp of guilty of illegal entry. |

The cost estimate to bore through rock and erect panels reached millions per-foot in multiple areas. What tax payer thinks dumping billions per-mile on a wall where almost nobody travels is a good spending? Using walls to funnel people would be more reasonable than this full-wall with guard towers nonsense. The more efficient wall build would be to use them to protect specific areas of US property, like private land. Resistance to using current methods, available today, like right now, and then adding structures as data comes in - is because Trump said the words "build a wall" so now that's gospel. If he said "build a defense" people would be using their own drones all over the border right now and demanding billions be spent in enforcement instead of walls. |

Less than 100 miles of actual new wall was constructed. With all the modern technology we have, the total length of the border for just Texas is about 1950 miles. They can’t get an exact number because the Rio Grande turns and meanders wildly. Most of the miles where a wall hasn’t been constructed is because it’s private land. Apparently eminent domain laws come into play and/or Texas ranchers would prefer to just put up no trespassing signs and handle the problem themselves (like year round dear season or wild hog season). It seems like a ton of wasted money to me. With $15 billion appropriated from the defense budget, we got less than 100 miles of actual new wall. And there is virtually no improvement in solving the problem. That said, Biden halting construction with an executive order was pure spiteful politics and had nothing to do with any analytics or new plan. As long as government keeps up the petty partisan fighting within itself, we really don’t need an enemy from abroad to destroy us. The enemy within is our own worst enemy. |

But as everyone says, much of this illegal immigration can be stop with the stroke of a pen. Simply state the border is close to asylum-seekers until some point in the future. Force local authorities and prosecuting attorneys to turn over illegal immigrants arrested for other offenses to ICE and deport them back to their country of origin. Do that for a while in a message will get across the US is closed for business. I know the Democratic Party and power desperately wants new voters but we’ve got to stop this. |

Then was: “…this Jeep is stationary and does not move…” I said NO, it is, NOT DRIVEN, ON PUBLIC ROADS !!!!!! Then was Silence !!!!!!!!!! So I Said: “It doesn’t run“ BOOM ! I have now a, “Complete a De-Insured Certificate” NEVER MIND, the notice I was sent, Outlined the LAW. NEVER MIND, the Quoted Statute, was quoted. NEVER MIND, she did what, SHE wanted to do, or what her boss TOLD her to do. I had a similar issue with a truck and a Savage that is only on private land. All I had to do was clarify that the vehicle runs, I drive it, but never on public roads. I just had to say it another way. They said they had never heard of that before, and that the electronic entry system only had "drop downs" and no manual entry options. So they actually had no way to enter an operational vehicle that isn't on public roads into their system. There also was some "in view of public road" nonsense where supposedly uninsured operational vehicles aren't supposed to be left in driveways, but the wording in the law made it a fiasco for the people doing the paperwork. Every time I start to think what a sh!tshow all this is I just look at places I've been with no accountability in place and the absolutely disastrous driving conditions that exist there. |
