Title: WTB Forks
Post by Adam1 on 10/08/23 at 09:35:37

My forks are bent from a wreck,  looking for some straight ones.

I got straight but pitted.
And don't think I want to ship them.

Well, if you change your mind and think they can be restored with a little elbow grease, I'm glad to give them a go. Trying to get this bike back on the road.

You should start watching eBay or Facebook Marketplace.

Good fork tubes are a bit hard to find - it is common for the forks to be damaged in front end collisions.  Good forks are only available when the rest of the bike has been dismantled.

You will likely have to buy the entire assembled left and right side units.....or a complete front end.

There are also new tubes made in China that are available on eBay.....no idea if they are any good.

Cool, Im in Kerrville, a bit south of Austin.
I dont have good pix on me at the moment other than this one. Ill take some more when Im off work.
They are in good shape except for a couple blemishes on the LH side and they need new seals.

………………..

Kerrville ?
Several of us come to Kerrville (stay at the state park on the river) to ride the hill country, usually once a year.  “Youzguyz” acts as our tour guide when we are there.  We spend a week riding.
