I found 1 on Ebay for $151 tax and shipping.

I'm still in need of a CDI for my 2009 S40. Do any of you know of a used parts dealer that might have one. All help is appreciated. Thanks Jeff

Thanks that helps me out. I am buying one from EBay for $199 that came from a 2004 S40. I guess there aren't a whole lot of them floating around out there. The new part can run as much as $800. I just got it running again after the sending coil went out, and it was running great. One week later the cdi goes out.

as costly as the ig module is, I can't recommend anything but stock ig components.
