I have never understood the attraction of burnouts. A waste of rubber and too much stress on everything else. Maybe it's because when I was younger, I mostly drove junk and didn't have any money to fix stuff broken by abuse.

I'm with you, Bobert. I've been a shows where they did burnouts to the point of failure. I put distance between me and that crap.

I wasted a weekend this summer at a vintage road race at The Ridge, Shelton, WA.
Part of the property was designated as a car 'Drift' track. 2 days of burnt rubber and screeching tires alongside vintage racecars. Total waste! Never again!
